Water Spray Retort

DTS offers 3 different types of water spray retort for your food sterilization needs, including water spray retort, cascading retort and sides spray retort. The water is pumped to spray evenly throughout the vessel and heats the product with excellent temperature distribution. With the micro-processing controller PLC, the sterilization process is automatically performed and the temperature and pressure inside the retort are accurately controlled following the recipe (with a temperature uniformity of ±0.5℃ and a pressure uniformity of ±0.05bar).

Water Immersion Retort

Water immersion retort adopts hot water that is preheated to the desired temperature in the top storage vessel before entering the retort chamber, thus resulting in an improved heating efficiency which translates to the faster sterilization process.

Direct Steam Retort

Direct steam retort is the simplest and most dependable type of autoclave that provides a proven method for tin can sterilization. During the sterilization, the air is evacuated from the retort by flooding the vessel with steam, exhausting air through the vent valve.

Steam Air Retort

Steam-air retort is added with a fan as a driving force to mix the steam and air, and to prevent cold spots in the machine. The heating medium and the processed food packages are in direct contact and in forced convective heating.

Pilot Retort

DTS pilot retort is a multifunctional test sterilization retort, which offers multiple modes of operation in one machine, such as spray (water spray, cascade, side spray), water immersion, steam, rotation, etc. Any combination of several sterilization methods is configurable, making it the best option for laboratory and food producers in need of new product development.

Rotary Retort

DTS rotary retorts are designed to efficiently sterilize a wide variety of products packaged in rigid, semi-rigid and flexible containers. It is ideally suited for handling products that benefit from agitation during the cooking and cooling phases to enhance overall product quality. The rotary agitation capabilities further enhance the flexibility of the machine by delivering fast and efficient processes for heat sensitive and/or other convective heating and cooling products. Our rotary retort is optional in three modes: water spray, water immersion and steam.

Retort Accessories

DTS also offers full range of retort accessories to round out our multifunctional product lines, including sterilization retort basket, trolley, layer pad and retort tray. Our retort accessories are designed to accommodate diverse requirements of food and beverage products, helping your sterilization equipment for efficient production.

Automated Batch Retort System (ABRS)

The development trend of food processing is from small vessels to large sterilization retorts so as to improve efficiency and product safety and reduce energy consumption. Larger retort requires larger baskets which cannot be handled manually. The higher labor cost also promoted the gradual change from manual operation to automatic processing.

Vertical Continuous Sterilizing System (Crateless)

The vertical crateless retort system is a continuous sterilization line that overcomes a variety of technological bottlenecks in the sterilization industry. This sterilizing system features high technology, advanced technology, good sterilization effect, simple structure of the sterilized cans orientation system. It is perfect for products requiring continuous processing and mass production.

Loader Unloader

Automatic loader/unloader system is developed in response to the market needs of continuous loading and conveying of the products, aiming at providing stable and reliable operation, as well as high working efficiency. DTS specializes in the R&D, production and commissioning of loading and unloading system for retort sterilization. We can also make reasonable layout according to the different situations and needs of customers.

Retort Energy Recovery

If your retort vents steam into the atmosphere, DTS steam autoclave energy recovery system will convert this energy into usable hot water without affecting the FDA/USDA heat treatment exhaust requirements.
